    NEW ORLEANS, La. — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will close the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) located at the St. Martin Parish Fire Training Center, 1035 Ruth Bridge Hwy, on Thursday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. To date, SBA has approved more than $3.6 million in low interest disaster loans to homeowners, renters and business owners who suffered damage as a result of the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred Feb. 12 and 13 in Jefferson, Orleans and St. Martin parishes.   • Iowa Receives Presidential Disaster Declaration for Mahaska and Polk Counties

    URBANDALE, IA — Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Division (HSEMD) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that Mahaska and Polk Counties have been added to the Presidential Disaster Declaration for Iowa counties affected by recent severe winter weather.
